We appreciate your interest in the sourcing of our gear and our sustainability practices.

First, Ten Thousand's shorts are designed in the USA. Second, our vendors are all either WRAP or BSCI certified. These certifications are European/international certifications designed to help companies improve worker conditions. In addition, our factories are inspected for ethical and environmental standards. When looking for factory partners, we explore all options domestically and abroad.

The partners we've decided to work with can meet the quality and performance standards we set for all our gear. We also only work with factories that meet stringent standards for sustainability and ethical manufacturing.Additional items of note are:

• All of our shipping packaging and item poly-bags are biodegradable or recyclable.
• Returned items- are returned to inventory when in mint condition, donated when not suitable for resale.
• We are working on donating unsalvageable returns (defects and such) to recycling companies.
